History

The Presidential Advisory Council on Science and
Technology has been established for objectives
including the innovation of national science
and technology.
Merging the prior advisory functions of the PACST and deliberation functions of the National Science and
Technology Council, the PACST performs the duty as the highest advisory · deliberation organization.

    and Technology Act was amended
    (reformed to PACST)

    and Technolody Act was amended
    (reformed as the Presidential Advisory Council on
    Education, Science and Technology)
  • 2004.03 The Presidential Advisory Council on Science and
    Technology Act was amended
    (strengthening of the status with the President as
    the Chairperson)

    and Technology was enacted
  • 1989.06 The Temporary Presidential Advisory Council on Science
    and Technology was founded and operated
